Hello
Meet Lulu, our yellow labrador retriever. She was bred to hunt and trained
to compete, but most importantly, she was born to be a member of our family.

Big things come in small packages, saying that reflects Lulu explicitly to a T. At 49lbs, she has drive and desire that is second to none. Many have complimented that having such a fast dog is not ideal for a first time handler, given how fast a new handler has to react as they, themselves, are learning at the same time. Even if given the opportunity to slow her down, I would not change a thing - the adventure she's provided has been unforgetable and will be treasured for a lifetime.
Trained from the age 8 weeks. Junior Titled at the age of 6 months and 2 weeks. Earned her Senior Title at the age of 18 months. In addition to receiving her Master Title, she qualified for both the 2018 Master National Invitational and 2019 Master Amateur Invitational. Foregoing the Master National, she entered and competed in the Master Amateur in Butte, Montana in June 2019 at what would be the biggest challenge ever faced by Lulu and her handler. In the end, dedication, years of hard work, and trust carried them through the 7 day event as their number was called. Amateur trained, amateur handled.
Raised on Idaho's Snake River, she's left her mark on its waters since she was 9 months old. From the frigid and famous 'Snow-magedon' of 2016 that created a once-in-a-lifetime season, to the early upland hunts across the numerous islands of the Snake, Lulu has been able pleasure to hunt across a vast array terrain and for wide range of birds. Her dedication to retrieving a bird has never been put in doubt, as she's the most in her element doing what she was bred to do.
When it came to Lulu's breeding, we were determined to do it right or not do it at all. By having passed the 2019 MASTER AMATEUR INVITATIONAL, it was confirmed that Lulu had the qualities that are sought after by so many owners, handlers, and trainers.
When selecting a male, we wanted to compliment Lulu's incredible looks, intelligence, perseverance, intense focus, and never ending drive. Furthermore, we wanted a male that was more than a dog that runs hunt tests or field trials - we wanted a male that was a member of a family.
We found what we were looking for in Palisades Fear the Beard MH QAA (Jase). At 17 months Jase completed his Senior Hunt title. At 31 months he completed his Master Hunt title and qualified for the Master National. This past trial season he placed First at the Soda Springs Trial Qual, earning him a QAA title. During the off season, he continues to please by retrieving on several waterfowl and upland bird hunts through out the fall and winter months for his owners. As expected with all family dogs, he is well mannered and behaved.
Jase is approximately 70lb, and is yellow factored. We expect both black and yellow puppies from this breeding. Lulu is expected to whelp on 01/06/2019. Check back for more information as time gets closer to her whelp date.
